Audire Crescendo Manual4/22/2021
As he was using it for a home-theater center channel, Im guessing thats what happened.I go pick it up today buddy says he bought it for his home theater, but could never get it to work.
Hmmmm. In order to avoid the Brother or Idiot pheneomena I previously encountered, (. I get er home, hook er up sit there, with my jaw hanging open, listening to some of the most beautiful sound Ive ever heard. This little amp is an a-kicker, with both power fidelity in spades. So impressed Im leaving it in the main rig until it proves me wrong. Anybody else heard this wee gem Specifications Power Output: 8 Ohms stereo 50W x 2 4 Ohms stereo 60W x 2 8 Ohms bridged 150W x 1 Frequency Response: 20Hz 20kHz 1dB-0.5dB Signal to Noise Ratio: 101dBA at 8 Ohms, 1 THDN Weight: 12lbs (5.45kg) Dimensions: 2.9 x 16.5 x 9.25 inches (76 x 422 x 235mm) OK, so Im almost 24-hours in with this amp its still blowing my mind. Apparently its got complementary discrete bipolar output transistors. Im at a loss to explain it, but this little wonder has got my stereo sounding better than ever. It just sounds so.real. The more I sit and listen to it, the better it sounds. There seems to be some magical synergy occurring between this amp, my pre-amps phono-stage, my turntable my new Denon DL-110 MC cartridge. As I sat in the sweet-spot I was enveloped by the music in a way that drew me right inside the soundstage. And I swear little details were apparent that Id never even noticed before. For the that you paid and the sound coming out of it, it seems like you did alright. So why did it work for you and not him (And there is absolutlely no implied accusation there). So why did it work for you and not him (And there is absolutlely no implied accusation there) Im guessing he had it hooked-up wrong. The Amp 100 features two inputs, input one is connected to an auto-on feature input 2 is a regular line input. Audire Crescendo Manual States ThatThe manual states that input 2 is to be used for standard applications, so if he failed to read the manual had it hooked-up to input 1, the amp was going to sleep on him every time it had no signal to it. From the manual: Line 1 Input This is the secondary input, use Line 2 IN for your main input. Line 1 IN can be used if a second source is desired and takes over when signal is present and has at least a 5mV level. When there is no signal, or a signal with less than 5mV level, the amp switches back to Line 2 IN after a brief delay.
